Skeletons in Our Closets
Brainwashing broadcasts mask the cash stacks
being made by corporate fat cats that convince rich
ass hats that their assets will be lost
out of no where, it was probably Obamacare
Lies leap from their lips like led projectiles
We speak truth at open mics while they lie about drone strikes
And it's hard to keep up with the missiles
So turn off the fox news biased views will only confuse those
who choose to abuse. When love is always the answer
these people will always lose.
Politicians preach propaganda praising fake intentions
Their smiles hide lies but no one is raising questions
Our government has a money addiction problem and we need an intervention.
Foreign policies police foreigners from pursuing non american perspectives
C.I.A assassinations give noncomplying countries new directives
Government issue pistols are being issued to racists
A supposed symbol of security is an icon of fear
And most people I've seen would rather believe that racism isn't there.
Then try to help with the shit that's going on everywhere.
Chinese children chase american dreams from sweat shops
Slowly moving in place wiping tear drops off their young face
Working to support their family, but more then just their own
Every american family too, just so we can have iPhones.
But on our own land certain states are allowed to discriminate
Laws based on bible passages
And i thought we had separation of church and state
Instead we just have separation of those who are different and those who hate
A nation founded under god but above native graves
In between the two is racism, poverty and an nonfunctional congress
Nothing getting passed today
But still all the masses say.
That this is the greatest place on earth
At-least that's what they try to tell me.
I mean that's what they try to sell me.
Capitalistic trickle down economics often compared to feeding dogs scraps
Police treat people like animals when they act like snakes
Charities are failing funding while were giving slaughterhouses tax breaks.
Skeletons stare down america from it's closets
Soon toppling the nations ivory tower
Because we're only a world power, for the hour.
